Urvashi Batra

Urvashi Batra heads Equities Electronic Trading in Americas at Barclays. In this role, she is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of the electronic equities client offering in the Americas through the buildout and optimization of cutting edge electronic trading products, defining Barclays’ Cash Equities Trading liquidity strategy and partnering with institutional and quantitative clients to deliver tailored execution solutions for them. Prior to her current role, Urvashi spent 11 years at JP Morgan, most recently as Americas Head of Electronic Trading Solutions. In this role, she played an instrumental role in driving market share growth and significantly improving industry rankings within the electronic trading franchise. Urvashi started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She graduated from Cornell University with a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering.
